THROUGH THE QUIN MURPHY FOUNDATION, WE, AS FAMILY AND FRIENDS, ARE COMMITTED TO KEEPING OUR HOPES AND DREAMS ALIVE FOR QUIN MURPHY, BY HELPING THE COMMUNITY AND SUPPORTING LOCAL STUDENTS IN THEIR PURSUIT OF A HIGHER EDUCATION.

OUR STORY

Our goal is to raise awareness, and elevate the importance of compassion and critical thinking in health care professions, and inform people about how to advocate for their right to quality healthcare.

On January 27, 2010, Andrew "Quin" Murphy, passionate soccer player and history buff, died unexpectedly of a treatable, yet misdiagnosed illness. The profound grief left in the wake of his death inspired his family to start The Quin Murphy Foundation.

Money raised in Quin’s name benefits scholars, athletes, and students who face obstacles, as well as students who aspire to enter the medical field. Our hope is that Quin's story will inspire those students to provide safe and effective healthcare to their future patients.

We want to inspire people to live their lives with love, compassion, and purpose. Our goal is to raise awareness and elevate the importance of compassion and critical thinking in the healthcare profession, and to empower others to have a voice and advocate for their right to quality healthcare.
